The Vero Beach Yacht Club is collecting new Teddy Bears to give to children under stress. Teddy Bears may be dropped off at the Club, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. July 16 – 20 at the clubhouse, 3601 Rio Vista Blvd., next to the City Marina.

SCI FI FILMS AT THE MUSEUM OF ART
The Vero Beach Museum of Art’s Summer Sci-Fi Film series in conjunction with its Astronomy Photographer of the Year exhibition continues on Tuesday, July 9 at 5:30 pm with The Man Who Fell to Earth. The films are free for members and those with paid admission to the exhibits.

VERO BEACH INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL
Award-winning bluegrass, Americana, and folk musicians from around the country will gather to perform together in one-of-a-kind collaborations as part of the Vero Beach International Music Festival at First Presbyterian Church, 520 Royal Palm Blvd. The event, part of the Mike Block String Camp, is from July 10-13 with three public performances. Admission is free; a suggested $20 donation will benefit the Mike Block String Camp Scholarship fund. Main stage performances will be held Wednesday, July 10, and Friday, July 12, both at 7:30 pm. Main Stage performers include multiple Grammy Award winners and nominees, as well as advanced students from around the world. The final performance, on Saturday, July 13, at 3:00 pm., will feature student musicians from the Mike Block String Camp and a barn dance. The Oceanside Business Association is holding Sunset Saturday Night on Ocean Drive at Humiston Park on Saturday, July 13 from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. Enjoy live music by the Casey Raines Band (Country Rock & Pop Dance Band), a variety of food and drink and stroll the community booths. Make sure to visit the Vero Beach Yacht Club booth to donate a new Teddy Bear to children in need. Outside food and beverages are discouraged in lieu of the many food venues and beverage bars which are on-site on concert nights. When the music is over, you can enjoy a stroll down Ocean Drive, and maybe cruise on over to an after-party at one of the fabulous hotels, restaurants, and bars.
The Space Coast Symphony Jazz Orchestra will perform Motown – The Groove that changed America on Saturday, July 13 at 3 pm at the Emerson Center. This program will include hits made famous by artists like Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, Smokey Robinson, the Temptations, the Supremes, the Four Tops and Marvin Gaye. $25 advance tickets for adults are available through the orchestra website at www.SpaceCoastSymphony.org or at the Marine Bank & Trust, mainland and beachside branches.
