Ballet Vero Beach is thrilled to announce Nutcracker on the Indian River at Tree House Vero Beach. The company promises continued safe live performances, digital offerings, unique experiences, and programming for all!
 
Following last season’s spectacular film adaptation of Nutcracker on the Indian River, we are thrilled to bring our critically acclaimed production back safely to a very different stage this season! Join Ballet Vero Beach for a one of a kind outdoor experience to get up close and personal with an abbreviated version of our beloved version of the holiday classic. The idyllic setting of Tree House Vero Beach will play host to this magical experience on December 21 and 22 at 2:30 and 5:30 each day. Enjoy a one-hour version of Nutcracker on the Indian River complete with all your favorite characters and choreography! From land crabs to manatees and river otters to bougainvillea, this incarnation of Nutcracker on the Indian River is sure to impress.
 
As the venue is so close to one of the Indian River Land Trust’s most beautiful properties, The Toni Robinson Waterfront Trail, and due to Ballet Vero Beach’s longstanding partnership with the land trust, patrons can add on a one hour nature tour with land trust senior staff. Take the tour after seeing a matinee, or prior to attending an evening performance. Who knows, you may even catch a glimpse of some of the flora or fauna that features so prominently in Nutcracker on the Indian River.
 
As a continued thank you to all our patrons, and in an effort to continue to make our programming accessible, all productions for the season, including Nutcracker on the Indian River at Tree House Vero Beach, will be available in our hugely popular Watch at Home format. Also on the accessibility front, the company is pleased to announce that all tickets for its Nutcracker For All production on December 20 at 5:30 have been distributed for free to members of our Ticket Donation Program. This program (in existence since Ballet Vero Beach’s inception) serves 17 local social service nonprofits not only with free program tickets, but with ancillary education and engagement initiatives.
