At the risk of politicizing what has traditionally been a community event, Citizens for a Brighter Future, a political action committee funded in part by Florida Power & Light, ringed the Under the Oaks Art Show  today with signs promoting Tuesday’s referendum on the proposed sale of Vero Electric.

In violation of city code, the group’s political signs were placed in the park and in city right of way at the entrance to the park and along Beachland Boulevard.  After the city received a formal complaint the signs were removed.
