Florida Tech to host conference on ethics in leadership

Town of Indian River Shores Mayor Brian Barefoot is scheduled to speak at a conference on ethics and business to be hosted on the FLorida Tech campus in Melbourne, April 16.  The conference,  “Creating Business and Social Value through Corporate Social Responsibility,” will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Florida Tech Gleason Performing Arts Center.  A $20 registration fee includes a continental breakfast and lunch.

8:15–9 a.m. – Opportunities and Challenges of Corporate Social Responsibility in a Global Environment

Prior, served in the Harris’ Microwave Communications Division as the Human Resources lead for integration during the Harris/Stratex merger, and ultimately became Human Resources director for the Americas at Harris Stratex Networks, a majority owned subsidiary of Harris. Also worked in Human Resources with EMC Corporation and the Gillette Company.
