The Vero Beach Art Club recently announced the names of three student who will receive scholarship from the club.  Scholarship recipients are chosen for artistic merit, community service, school recommendations and financial criteria.

This year’s scholarships were awarded to Lydia Chapman, Christophe Ewert and Robert Walsh.  Each student was presented a $2,000 scholarship to take classes in the arts in an accredited art school, college or university by Education Chair Dawn Mill at the April Vero Beach Art Club General Meeting.

The Vero Beach Art Club’s mission is to encourage and support both appreciation and creation of fine art with emphasis on painting, drawing, collage and sculpture.  The Vero Beach Art Club is a non-profit organization and receives funding from donations for their education programs, scholarships and school outreach, Arts for Smarts, through their main annual exhibitions, Under the Oaks Fine Arts & Crafts Show, Art in the Park, Art by the Sea and the Art Trail each year.
