The Indian River Neighborhood Association will hold it’s April luncheon Thursday, April 18 in Fellsmere at Marsh Landing Restaurant in the historic Fellsmere Estates Building on Broadway.  Fellsmere Mayor Susan Adams and City Manager Jason Nunemaker will be the Guest Speakers.  The luncheon will begin at 11:30 and tickets are $15 payable at the door.

Following the luncheon, the group will caravan to the National Elephant Center in Fellsmere for a tour.  This Center is a collaborative effort of 73 accredited zoos across America and this is a special opportunity to view and learn about it. The first elephants are expected to arrive next month and the Center will then be closed to the public.

After the tour of the Elephant Center, attendees are invited to visit site in the Stick Marsh filled with nesting Roseate Spoonbills along with White and Blue Herons, Anhinga and other water fowl and shore birds. It is truly native Florida at its best!
