A group headed by civic activist Linda Hillman is patiently and persistently gathering signatures for recall initiatives targeting Mayor Craig Fletcher and Vice Mayor Tracy Carroll.  Along with the local daily newspaper, which seems oblivious to the recall effort, Fletcher and Carroll, for all appearances, are going about their daily routines as if everything is hunky dory in “Pleasantville.”
