Indian River Habitat for Humanity currently has existing, rehab homes available for qualified families in need.  With mortgage payments around $450 per month, Habitat can offer  homeownership at less than most rent payments.

Potential homebuyers can acquire a rehabbed home with no down payment, a no-interest mortgage and requiring fewer Sweat Equity Hours than a new construction home.

Homebuyers must: meet the need qualification and financial guidelines; be able to make mortgage payments; commit to attending the program’s required classes; and fulfill the Sweat Equity hours.
