Angela Marie Hodge, 52, died August 13, 2013 at Parrish Medical Center in Titusville. Angie was born in Knoxville, TN and lived in Vero Beach for 41 years coming from Ft. Pierce. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Vero Beach. Angie was a very active volunteer for the Pug Rescue of Florida, Windmere, FL. Survivors include her parents, Bill and Iris Hodge of Vero Beach; brother, Billy Hodge of Vero Beach; sister Vicky Hodge Bass (David) of Vero Beach; nieces and nephews, Hunter, Billy III, Bryce, Mason, Reid and Kerry; uncles and aunts, Arthur and Brenda Hodge of Vero Beach, and Tom and Judy Hodge of Knoxville, TN and sister-in-law, Carey Hodge of Vero Beach. Angie was preceded in death by her niece, Taylor Lauren Wynn. Anthony J. Adona, 81, son of the late John and Concetta Adona, died August 13, 2013 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach. Tony was born in Cerreto Sannita, Italy had been a winter resident of Vero Beach before moving there full time twelve years ago from Metuchen, NJ. Tony was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Army and was a graduate of NYU. He had been an executive with Revlon in Edison, NJ prior to his retirement and an avid Yankees fan. Survivors include wife of 46 years Marlene V. Adona of Vero Beach: children Pennie Cordobes of Dunellen, NJ, Patrick Prete of Melbourne, FL, Paul Prete of Palm Bay, FL, Peter Prete of Indialantic, FL and Toni Corson of Green Brook, NJ; fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Diane Thelma Bailey, 67, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. Diane was born October 15, 1945 in Blue Point, Long Island, NY. She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1987, coming from Long Island. She graduated from Bayport / Blue Point High School in 1964. Prior to her retirement she worked for the Indian River County School Board for 15 years. She was a member of St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church in Vero Beach. Diane enjoyed boating, camping and traveling North America in her motor home. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Kenneth Bailey; daughter, Deborah Wojciechowski; sons, David (Susan) and Daniel Bailey; brothers, Gary (Lyn) Miller and Wayne Miller; grandchildren, Sarah Bailey, Jessica Wojciechowski, Jordan Wojciechowski and Joshua Bailey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Morton and Thelma Miller; niece, Dawn M. Miller and nephew, Gary T. Miller. A visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. Virginia W. Desmond-Williams, 85, of Vero Beach passed away on Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Grace Rehabilitation Center of Vero Beach. Virginia was born August 14, 1927 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 2000, coming from Fort Lauderdale. Prior to her retirement she worked as a teacher and principal at the North Andrew Garden Elementary School for 23 years. Survivors include her sister, Helen Bailey of Vero Beach; daughter, Laura Attwood of Vero Beach; grandson, Robert Attwood of Vero Beach; granddaughter, Nicole Desmond of Wisconsin; great-granddaughter, Olivia of Wisconsin and numerous nieces and nephews. Adrienne G. Luckey, 77, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away on August 10, 2013 at Indian River Medical Center. She was born January 6, 1936 in Bronx, NY and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 12 years, coming from Lake Worth, FL. Mrs. Luckey attended Tabernacle Ministries, Vero Beach. She volunteered with the Auxiliary of Indian River Medical Center and was an avid quilter. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Nathan) Carlsward of Vero Beach and Kim Luckey of Boynton Beach; son, Brian Luckey of Vero Beach; sisters, Claire Woods and Laura “Bunny” Gura; grandchildren, Andrea Perry, Carly Hasenauer, Sean Atteberry, Jason McWhorter, Ashley Atteberry; great-grandchildren, Carrie Mitchell, Garrett McWhorter, Kares Hasenauer and Kailani Hasenauer. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Luckey and daughter, Debbie McWhorter. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Tabernacle Ministries, Vero Beach.
