Hundreds of people turned out yesterday for the Save Our Lagoon Rally organized by the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA).

In addition to hearing from Dr. Edie Widder, founder of Ocean Research & Conservation (ORCA), Dr. Grant Gillmore, a senior scientists with Coastal and Ocean Science, Inc. (ECOS), Corry Westbrook, policy coordinator for CCA and a candidate for Congress, County Commissioner Joe Flescher and Bill Camp, president of CCA Florida, participants in the rally had an opportunity to help put together oyster mats to be used in a Rotary Club sponsored project to restore seagrass in the Lagoon near the Moorings.

  1. The web site of Coastal Conservation Assn. does not indicate that Corry Westbrook is a policy coordinator for that organization. Unfortunately, Corry Westbrook has a habit of making claims that are not supported by the facts.

Corry Westbrook at her core is a clone of Charlie Wilson.
