Which local publication and online news source makes the Indian River Tea Party’s “not-recommended” reading list? It is a short list of one – InsideVero.com.
The local Tea Party’s web site offers an “Indian River County News Links” page, which includes links to nine sources of news and information, including a daily newspaper, two weekly newspapers, a television station, a monthly publication, the Chamber of Commerce, and a couple of inactive links as well. Absent from the Indian River Tea Party’s list of “recommended” news sources in InsideVero.com.
Perhaps two of the sacred liberties the local Tea Party does not especially cherish are freedom of speech and freedom of the press.

This is one Tea Party I don’t want to attend – ever again….In the beginning, it had merit. Then it became “something else”–not a group that joined all of us together but rather one that was partisan and extremely so. Right? You betcha! Am relieved Inside Vero is not on their reading list.
Why does this not surprise me? Freedom of the press, to many in our paranoid country, means shut the heck up and keep it to your liberal self.
I firmly believe in freedom of speech. I just don’t recommend reading this brand of propaganda. You are free to print it. I am free to not recommend it. But I don’t speak for the Tea Party, just myself. I have been entertained by the spin, so thanks for that.
You are welcome. Do keep coming back.
I think that it should be a badge of honor to not be supported by the Tea Party Know Nothing poolitical organization.
