SHERIFF’S OFFICE MEDIA RELEASE

Detectives with the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office are searching for 17 year old Austin Scott Furbush.  Austin has run away from his Indian River County home and has health concerns which may require immediate medical attention.

He was last seen on September 3, 2013, at 11:30AM wearing ripped blue jeans and a blue Hollister shirt. He is driving his father’s 1993 green Ford F-150 pick-up truck with Florida tag 6816JE. The truck has a lift suspension, large tires, and a camouflage design on the back window.  His destination is unknown but he may be attempting to leave the state.

Austin is a white male, 5-11, 150lbs, brown hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Charlie Clark at 772-978-6188 or our investigations unit at 772-978-6124.
