Mrs. Frances M. Frawley, 101, died September 3, 2013 at her residence in Sebastian. She was born in Manhattan, NY and lived in Sebastian for 5 years coming from Danbury, CT. Frances was a graduate of Grace Institute in Manhattan, NY. She was an Executive Secretary for the Ingersoll Rand Co. for 40 years before her retirement in 1972. Frances was a member of United Church of Sebastian and was a member of the Lady’s Rosary Club. Survivors include daughter, Eileen “Mikki” Langmaid and husband, David of Sebastian; granddaughters, Heather M. Malandro and Meagan Langmaid both of Sebastian; great-granddaughter, Hailey Malandro; great-grandson Anthony Malandro and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, James J. Wilson; granddaughter, Lori Ann Langmaid; brother, James P. Frawley; sisters, Cecilia Hall and Katherine Braun. Memorial contributions may be made to United Church of Sebastian, 1251 Sebastian Boulevard, Sebastian, FL 32958 in memory of Frances Frawley. John Charles McDonald, 85, passed away peacefully at Indian River Estates in Vero Beach on September 2, 2013. He was born on December 24th, 1927 in Geneseo NY. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley and sister Geraldine Maxson. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Syracuse University. He, and his wife, three children John Jr., Terry and Lynn took up residency in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada after being transferred to manage a division of Fingerhut Corporation. He served as a member of the Kiwanis Club in Cornwall and headed up the first Canadian lottery. He return to the States in the 70’s and assumed the position of Manager for Hale Indian River Groves for over 25 years and was referred to by many in the Citrus Industry as a Marketing Guru. He owned a number of groves in Indian River County and served on the Town Council of Indian River Shores. Services will be held at Aycock Funeral Home on Friday at 2:00 with a viewing beforehand between 12:00 and 2:00. (9/5/13)

Betty “Liz” S. Whitaker, 65, died August 29, 2013 at Winter Park Memorial Hospital in Winter Park. She was born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and lived in Casselberry, FL. Survivors include her mother Betty G. Steverson; sister Mamie Bo and fiance Scott Swank.
