Missing/endangered runaway juvenile Austin Furbush has been recovered. He was found in Charlotte County, Florida yesterday, September 11, 2013. An investigative lead tipped off detectives that Austin may be in the Punta Gorda, Florida area. The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation by locating the distinct truck Austin was believed to be driving.  The truck was found in a WalMart parking lot and video surveillance showed Austin entering another vehicle. Charlotte County deputies were able to trace the second vehicle to a local residence. Austin was found at an apartment complex in Punta Gorda and taken into custody without incident. His parents were notified and made arrangements to meet with authorities and Austin.
