More than 200 colleagues, clients and friends turned out Wednesday evening to join Linda Schlitt Gonzalez, Steven Schlitt and their family in marking the 60th year in business for Coldwell Banker Paradise Ed Schlitt Realtors. The firm was founded in 1953 by Ed and Marguerite Schlitt, both of whom served on the Florida Real Estate Commission and held other offices in local, state and national real estate associations.
Coldwell Banker Paradise Ed Schlitt Realtors now has nine offices throughout Brevard, Indian River and St. Lucie Counties. According to Steven Schlitt, the firm handled 2,000 real estate transactions last year, and manages more than 2,500 properties.
The Schlitts, long-time supporters of the Theatre Guild, celebrated their firm’s 60th anniversary at the Guild’s opening night performance of “Don’t Dress For Dinner.”
