Working with private fund, the Indian River Lagoon Coalition prepared and has released a brochure explaining the environmental issues threatening the Lagoon and outlining action steps to be taken to save one of North America’s most biologically diverse estuaries.
According to Judy Orcutt, a volunteer with the Coalition, the content of the brochure was reviewed by the utility and planning departments of the City of Vero Beach and Indian River County, and a number of other agencies, including the Ocean Research Conservation Association.
