Partisan politics will get in the way if the goal is to remove from office elected officials who disrespect members of the public, create false policies and mislead the public.
The blame game is even on all sides of political parties in our county.
There are many in Indian River County who have switched party affiliations numerous times just to be able to vote in local elections.
Local politics are driven by local issues such as lagoon health, development, electric rates and costs for municipal and rural services.
Vero Beach has urban issues germane to location. We need elected officials who are willing to address those issues directly important to the health, safety and well being of the residents living in our city.
Non-partisan policies were chosen specifically by those who came before us as a way to ensure that every day issues not politics were addressed for us as a community.
We will continue to have divisions and misunderstandings in our community if we choose our identity as party politics instead of addressing the very real and urgent issues we currently face.
In a race where two seats are available you need two strong candidates to assure non-re-election of one elected official. Especially one who has ruled by propaganda and disrespect and is fueled by a global energy company with local influence driving local politics and local issues.

Ken, who do you feel would serve us best ?
