Christopher C. Mason, 53, passed away on Sept.21, 2013 at Indian River Medical Center. Chris was born August 31, 1960 in Coral Gables, FL and was a lifetime resident of Vero Beach. He graduated from Vero Beach High School in 1978 and later attended Hobart Brothers Company Welding School, where he became a certified welder. He was further certified as an Underwater Commercial Diver by Divers Training Academy, Linkport in Ft. Pierce, FL. He was employed as a welder in Florida as well as other states and in Martinique. He also worked in various capacities in the citrus industry in Indian River County. He was last employed at Ocean Reefs Aquariums, a division of Harbor Branch, Ft. Pierce. Chris especially enjoyed diving during lobster season. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Hansen Mason and his brother, James Mason, Jr. both of Vero Beach. He was predeceased by his father, James R. Mason. Chris was a lover of animals, especially dogs. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Vero Beach, PO Box 644, Vero Beach, FL 32961. A visitation will be held 9:00-10:00 a.m., Friday, Sept. 27, 2013 followed by a 10a.m. funeral service at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, Vero Beach. Nunzio Nicholas Pandiscio ” Papa”, 80, Of Barefoot Bay FL. On the evening of Sept. 21st 2013 our beloved passed away peacefully after a brave battle with lung cancer comforted by family and the wonderful staff at the William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay Fl. Nunzio was born in Fitchburg, MA. Jan. 26th., 1933. Preceded in death by a loving daughter Debbie Moretti. Survived by his loving wife and pal Rosemarie Pandiscio. Loving Papa to daughter Randi ( Fernando ) Urquidi sons Michael Zuppa Brad (Tammy ) Zuppa and Gary Zuppa ( Dawn ) Loving Grandpapa to numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Nunzio proudly served in the United States Army during The Korean War with the 187th Regiment Combat Team as a radio operator 11th Airborne Division (Rakkasans) Avid golfer lover of the Martial Arts holding a Black Belt in Chung Moo Doe. His most joyful moments were spending quality time with his family, holidays in Chicago and babysitting his Grand Doggie and best friend Trixie. We will miss you papa. Thank you for giving so much of yourself and bringing so much happiness love and joy to our family. So lucky and grateful to have had you come into our lives taking care of our Mom. You have made us all better people for it. Forever in our hearts. Honoring his request his remains will be cremated and his ashes will be interred at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
