More than 100 area restaurants, businesses and community organizations, including the Vero Beach Museum of Art, and local art galleries will gather in Riverside Park Saturday, Sept. 28 for the first annual Celebrate the Arts Festival.

Sponsored by the Cultural Council, the inaugural Arts Festival will feature live entertainment, artists, authors, strolling performers, and lots of food and refreshments presented by local restaurants, including Blue Star Wine Bar, Chelsea’s on Cardinal, The Patio and Tides, and many more.

“The Vero Beach Museum of Art is pleased to participate in the Cultural Council’s Celebrate the Arts,” wrote Museum Marketing Coordinator Joe Ellis in a prepared statement.

According to Ellis, the Museum will be providing a number of activities and events relating to the Highwayman exhibition, and will be offering free admission from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  The Arts Festival hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
