Head over to Vero’s Heritage Center at 7 PM on Sat., October 26, 2013 for the annual Frightening Formals Halloween Party!  This year the building will be transformed into a Spooky Speakeasy and you’ll need the secret password for entry.  It’s sure to be the cat’s meow with a cash bar, entertainment, a DJ, raffle items, free door prize drawings, and the famous ‘red carpet stroll’. Funds raised from this event go towards the preservation, restoration, and operation of Vero’s Heritage Center, a fixture in downtown since it was built in 1935.  Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this memory-filled building remains a vital link to the history of our community and continues to serve as a key venue for weddings, dances, parties, and meetings, and on October 26, 2013, it’s the place to be for Vero Beach’s Spooky Speakeasy!
