Suspect sought in stabbing

Indian River County Sheriff’s Office detectives are searching for 21 year old St. Luice County resident Dominque Wilcox-Brownlee in connection with a stabbing which took place Sunday night in the 400 block of 13thStreet SW in Indian River County.

According to witness statements, Wilcox-Brownlee had been arguing with her two roommates about the payment of rent.  The roommates, a male and female, left their home in St. Lucie County and decided to stay with a relative in Indian River County to avoid continuing the argument.

At approximately 11:30PM last Sunday night, Wilcox-Brownlee arrived at the home of Cody Fronduto (21) in the 400 block of 13th Street SW.  Witnesses report that an argument took place in the front yard between Fronduto and Wilcox-Brownlee.  The altercation escalated when Wilcox-Brownlee stabbed Fronduto twice in the head and twice in the leg. The suspect left in her vehicle with another female. The car was found a few blocks away where another witness reported that Wilcox-Brownlee fled on foot.  

Fronduto was later treated for non-life threatening injuries and released from Indian River Medical Center.
