Campaign treasurers’ reports filed this afternoon with the City Clerk’s office revealed sizable contributions to two campaign electioneering organizations.

To date, FPL has contributed $28,000 to Citizens for a Better Future, an electioneering communications organizations formed to push for Carroll’s re-election. Only $135 dollars of the organizations total contributions of $28,135 have come from sources other than FPL.
IRNA For Protecting Neighborhoods and Traditional Values, a electioneering communications organization supporting Amelia Graves and Richard Winger, received $10,500 in contributions, $500 from the Indian River Neighborhood Association and $10,000 from Robert Hall.
Among the candidates, Tracy Carroll lead in contributions for the current reporting period, with cash receipts of $8,750. Amelia Graves’ campaign took in $4,721.44 in contributions. Richard Winger reported cash contributions of $451 and in-kind contributions of $957.40.

Another FP&L disgrace. Could it be that Carroll’s pollsters have seen a poor showing for Tracy Carroll’s re-election bid. Dumping another $ 14,000. may buy a few more votes, but anyone who knows her and her terrible public record will not vote for her unless they want weekly /daily rentals or want to give away the dog park.
Ultimately it is the rate payers who will fund this waste of money.
