Time to get “In the Mood” for Main Street Vero Beach’s retro 1940’s-style Christmas in Downtown on Black Friday November 29^th from 5:30 – 8:30pm (new hours through March) along 14^th Avenue in Historic Downtown Vero Beach.   A “swinging” time is planned with live Big Band music, antique cars from the era on display, Santa’s arrival, lighting of the Downtown Christmas tree, plus singing, dancing, shopping, eating, and more.

We are “Putting on the Ritz” with Dave Letts LETTS DANCE BAND, declared Joe Tessier, Downtown Friday Entertainment Co-Chair.  Local business owner and band leader Letts has put together a 10-piece band of the best area players and a vocalist which includes himself on trombone, Bob Hill and Gary Wagner on trumpet, Stan Linder on bass, Ryan Larson on keyboards, Claudio Bernardi on drums, George Vannoy on baritone saxophone, Charles Almeida on tenor saxophone, and Len Fallen providing vocals.  “Many of these players are regulars in such bands as The Ambassadors of Swing, For Dances Only Big Band and The Swingtime Jazz Band,” stated Letts, “it’s going to be a great night of reminiscing.”
