Former Vero Beach City Councilman Ken Daige discusses a proposal to protect additional park lands through an amendment to the City Charter. Currently, many of the City’s parks could be sold or leased by a simple majority of the City Council. Daige and others want the dog park on the barrier island, numerous parks on the mainland land, as well as Crestlawn Cemetery, to be included in a Charter provision protecting the lands from sale or lease without voter approval.

Very well articulated!
good idea. we cannot allow 3 people determine what most people want. let’s not lose our vero as we know it .
