Virginia Schwenk, 93, died November 28, 2013 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. Ms. Schwenk was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Harold A. Schwenk, Sr. and grandson Brian Schwenk. She was born in Union City, NJ and lived in Vero Beach FL for 27 years after moving from Knox, NY when she retired from the USPS as Postmaster. She was a US Navy Wave Veteran serving during WWII and was an original organizer of the Treasure Coast Waves Association. Survivors include her sons, Harold A Schwenk, Jr. (Kathleen), Gerald W. Schwenk (Judith) and her daughter, Janice Filkins all of Vero Beach FL, seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
