More than 30 competitors participated in the first annual “Bridge Challenge” hosted Saturday by the Navy SEAL Museum. The event was held as a fundraiser for the Museum.
Fully clothed, contestants swam approximately 100 yards from the Riverside Cafe dock to a rope ladder leading up to the Barber Bridge. After climbing the ladder and running across the bridge and back, competitors then rappelled down to the water and swam back to the dock.
