Gary Dean Marks, 72, died December 5, 2013 at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian.  He was born in Galconda, Illinois and lived in Micco coming from Eufaula, Alabama in 2004.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corp. having served during the Vietnam era.  Survivors include his wife, Patricia Gogan Marks of Micco; son, Anthony Marks of Pinellas Park; mother, Roberta Marks of Columbia, Missouri; sisters, Linda Taulli of New Orleans, Louisiana and Regina Van Patten of Jefferson City, Missouri.  SERVICES: A service will be announced at a later date.  www.strunkfuneralhome.com (12/06/13)

POLVERARI 1Donald R. “Ducky” Polverari died on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 after a courageous fight with cancer. Ducky was born in Brewster, New York on January 23, 1936. He graduated from Brewster High School in 1954 and went on to serve in the United States Army for 3 years. On August 23, 1958 he married Sandra Bennett. He worked for the Westchester County Police Department as a Parkway Patrolman. He owned and operated Ducky’s Deli in Brewster. They retired to Vero Beach in 2002. Ducky was predeceased by his parents, sister, and 4 brothers. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandra, their 6 children, Andrea Borda (David) of Vero Beach, FL, Beth Enright (Ward) of Poughkeepsie, NY, Lynne Harvey (Larry) of Brewster, NY, Rita Gallagher (Tom) of Vero Beach FL, Christine Hannigan (Jim) of Vero Beach, FL, and his son Donald Polverari (Mary Claire) of New Fairfield CT, and his beloved 13 grandchildren, Jennifer Borda, Rachel Eyman, Julie Borda, Austin and Monica Enright, Kathryn and Eric Harvey, Matthew and Drew Gallagher, Amanda and James Hannigan, Donald Albert and Michael Polverari, and many nieces and nephews. Ducky will always be remembered for his love of cooking, his devotion to his wife, children and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all for his quick jokes, good food, and opinions on life. Roger Pittman Redd, 60, died December 1, 2013 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.  He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and lived in Vero Beach for c over 30 years coming from Miami, FL.  He was a US Marine Corp veteran.  He is survived by his brother Phil Redd of Vero Beach.  He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas L. Redd and mother Gertrude Elizabeth Schreiter.  Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.  www.strunkfuneralhome.com (12/06/13)
