Fire destroys Wabasso home

Indian River County firefighters battled a house fire around 1 a.m. Tuesday in the 8300 block of 63rd Court in Wabasso.  The home, occupied by one adult, was destroyed by the fire.  There were no injuries and the fire is under investigation.  The one occupant of the home is reportedly being helped by the Red Cross, which is proving closing, food and temporary lodging.
