Marvin “Bud” Lloyd Klein, 86, of Vero Beach, Florida died Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Consulate Health Care of Vero Beach in Vero Beach. Bud was born in Chicago, Illinois and lived in Vero Beach coming from Cicero, Illinois in 1996. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Marine Corps, and had been a Lithographer at theMoody Bible Institute in Chicago prior to his retirement.  Bud was of the Lutheran faith, a life time member of the Elks, obsessed with jigsaw puzzles and an avid gin rummy player. Survivors include his daughters Deborah Utecht of Lombard, Illinois, son Keith “Butch”  R. Drew of Kunkletown, Pennsylvania, daughters Pamela Trage of Vero Beach and Kathi Niemann of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores Jane Klein, daughter Dr. Edith Klein and grandson Kevin Drew. Margaret Elvessa Marquardt, 100, of Vero Beach, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at The Place at Vero Beach. She was born on September 1, 1913 in Marion, OH and lived in Vero Beach since 2003, coming here from Venice, FL. Mrs. Marquardt was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Carl Marquardt and son Arthur Henry Marquardt. Meryl Alice Rooney, 97, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away December 13, 2013 at Atlantic Health Care. She was born February 11, 1916 in Arkansas City, KS and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 55 years. Mrs. Rooney is survived by her son, George (Cheryl) Rooney of Vero Beach and 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert and 2 daughters.
