Riverside Theatre has been nominated for 25 Broadway World.com Awards (Florida Edition) for last season’s productions of Aint Misbehavin’, Funny Girl, Red, Les Misérables, Woody Sez, Faith Healer and Grease.  

With nominations all of the nine listed categories, Riverside Theatre joins an impressive group of professional theatres around the state that produce and create their own productions. All shows throughout the state presented between September 2012 and August 2013 were eligible for nomination.

While the majority of nominations are for performers, Allen D. Cornell received three nominations in Direction (Les Misérables, Red and Faith Healer) and Ken Clifton received two nominations in Musical Direction (Les Misérables and Funny Girl). Mr. Cornell is one of only two directors with nominations in both the Musical and Play categories and Ken Clifton is the only person with two Musical Direction nominations.

Theatre patrons can vote for their favorite performer, production or director by going to www.broadwayworld.com/orlando/ and clicking the link under the masthead at the top of the page or by going directly to the link below. Voting concludes on December 31^st. Winners will be announced in January 2014.
