AlumbaughGenevieve Alumbaugh, 74, of Vero Beach, FL, passed away on Dec. 24, 2013.Genevieve’s love of and enthusiasm for tennis resulted in constantly encouraging everyone to participate with her for the sheer pleasure of the game. She was known for her keen wit, droll sense of humor, ever present engaging smile and constant efforts to brighten the day of everyone she met. She had a unique ability to make every occurrence a positive experience and was a tireless source of help and encouragement. A memorial mass will be held at Saint Helen’s Catholic Church on Monday, December 30, 2013 at 10AM. FlumanJoseph Edward Fluman, 17, passed away Dec. 24, 2013 at Arnold Palmer Hospital. His mother Joell, and father Glenn Legge from Palm Bay, FL were by his side along with his grandmother Barbara Fluman when the Lord sent the angels to take him with them to heaven. “Joey” brightened everyone’s day that came in contact with him, with his beautiful smile and bright eyes. He was admired for all his courage to fight his ongoing health problems. He always enjoyed spending time with his mommy, daddy, sister, grandparents, aunts and cousins. “Joey” was an amazing child, who leaves behind his mother and father Joell and Glenn Legge, his maternal grandparents Barbara and Edward Fluman from Malabar, FL, paternal grandparents Nancy and Glenn Legge, sister Justine Barbara Legge, aunts Heidi Baxter, Lynda Emery, cousins Brandon and Dylan Baxter, Jessica Sarrica, great-aunt and great-uncle Joyce and Martin Kenny and many great-cousins. Joey will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of having him in their lives. Services: Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian. M. Gerald Sedam II, 71, of Vero Beach, FL passed away peacefully at home on  December 24, 2013.  Jerry was born in Milwaukee, WI and moved at a young age to York, PA.   He attended York Country Day School and Phillips Academy Andover.  He graduated from Colgate University with a degree in Economics and went on to the Wharton Business School for his MBA.  Jerry was employed by Brown Brothers Harriman on Wall Street for twenty years before becoming a partner at Beck, Mack and Oliver in New York City. Jerry is survived by his wife Barbara of 47 years,  two sisters in laws, four brothers in laws, and many nieces and nephews.  Jerry was an avid golfer, and belonged to the John’s Island Club, Red Stick Golf Club, and Baltusrol Golf Club in New Jersey.  He was a member of the U.S. Senior Golf Association. A memorial service will be held at the Community Church of Vero Beach on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 11 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960 or to Colgate University M.
