Ida Mae Beinhower, 84, of Vero Beach, FL, died Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Indian River Medical Center. She was born in York, PA and lived in Vero Beach since 1986, coming from Shamokin, PA. Mrs. Beinhower was a member of First United Methodist Church, Vero Beach and the Christian Women’s Club. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jim; sons, William (Cindy) Beinhower of Grantville, PA and Joe Beinhower of Vero Beach; sister, Mary Walker of Fallston, MD and one grandchild. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Tia Beinhower. No services are scheduled at this time. Helene Cecilia O’Donnell, 93, died January 31, 2014 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.  She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and lived in Vero Beach. Survivors include a nephew John Dzik of Delaware and niece Maureen O’Donnell of Palm Beach Gardens. Visitation will be held from 10-11AM Thursday February 6, 2014 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.  A Mass of Chrisitian Burial will be held at 12pm, Thursday, February 6, 2014 at St. Helen’s Catholic Church. Gary SmithGary Phillip Smith, 76, died January 29, 2014 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach. Gary was born in Vero Beach and lived here his whole life. He was a graduate of Vero Beach High School, Class of 1955 and attended the University of Florida in Gainesville. Gary owned and operated G&B Tomatoes in Vero Beach since 1976 and he retired in 2004. Prior to owning his company, he worked for Matthew’s TV in Vero Beach. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Vero Beach. Gary was a devoted volunteer for the Shining Light Garden Foundation, Inc., Habitat for Humanity and was a long time supporter of Shiloh Youth Ranch, Sebastian, FL. Survivors include son, Ellis Smith and wife Teri of Vero Beach; daughters, Jenny Yingling and fiannce, Donnie Guthrie of Palm City, FL and Melissa Becker and husband, Jeff of Evans, GA; grandsons, Adam and Chad Yingling, Christian Fuentes and Alex and Eric Becker; granddaughters, Ashley Young, Sarah Smith and Kelsey Yingling; great-grandson Hunter Margiatta; brother James Smith and wife, Sandy of Vero Beach and sister, Anita Eveskcige of Branford, CT. Gary was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Barbara “Queenie” Smith; brother, Donald E. Smith and sister, Patricia Hardin. Memorial contributions may be made to Shining Light Garden Foundation, Inc. 6865 33rd Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32967 in memory of Gary P. Smith. A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM , Saturday, February 8, 2014 the First Baptist Church, Vero Beach with Rev. Michael Carter officiating. Nina Lockwood Solley, 87 died February 1, 2014 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and lived in John’s Island. She studied at Tudor Hall and earned her Bachelor’s degree at Smith College. She owned and operated the Winthrop Gallery for numerous years.  Katherine is survived by her daughter, Katherine H.
