Team of the Week
Vero Beach High School Girls Soccer Team, finished their season 20-3 and Sate Runner-up Saturday evening after losing in the State Championship Game to St. Aquinas Thomas 5-0. They also earned its 8th Consecutive NSCAA Team Academic Award with a 4.14 Team GPA. Congratulations on a great Season!!!
Player of the Week
Sophomore Brock Miller has been on the Varsity Boys Basketball team for three years, this season emerged as a true leader and has played a key role in the historic run made by the Pirates this year to winning 20 games for only the second time in school history. He is averaging 13.1 points per game and 11.7 rebounds per game. Brock is among the top twenty rebounders in the state.
Coach of the Week
Rashard Morgan 6yr Head Coach of the Lady Indians Varsity Basketball Team has his team sitting one game out of the State Final four after a big Regional quarterfinal win over University from Orlando 64-49.
VBHS is 22wins-2losses on the season; the record reads 12-1 Home 6-1 away and 4-1 at neutral sites. The teams ranked 231 nationally and 10 in the state of Florida. Lady Indians have scored 1490 points this season.
