LAWRENCE WILTON BROWN, 56, of Vero Beach, Florida, died Friday, February 28 at his residence. He was born April 17, 1957 in Hawaii and had been a long time resident of Indian River County. Larry worked as a mechanic and attended Riverside Church of Sebastian.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Teresa Brown of Vero Beach; daughter, Rebecca Brown of Vero Beach;

GONZALEZMANACE GONZALEZ, 69, of Vero Beach, FL passed away February 28, 2014 at his home. Manace was born in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico and moved to Vero Beach in 1984 from California. He had been a driver for Treasure Coast Sanitation prior to his retirement and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Manace was a member of Tabernacle Ministries in Vero Beach and was well recognized for his pet parrot and for having a “Green Thumb”.

Survivors include wife Gladys of Vero Beach, sons Manace Gonzalez Jr. of Fellsmere and Brian Gonzalez of Vero Beach, grandchildren Manace Junior Gonzalez, III, Alyssa Gonzalez, Seth Kaiser, Jonas Gonzalez, Helena Gonzalez and Gabriel Gonzalez of Vero Beach, great-granddaughter Bella Gonzalez of Vero Beach, brothers Noel Gonzalez and Felix Gonzalez of Puerto Rico and Josue’ Gonzalez of California, sisters Eloina and Susana of California, Myrna of California and Marlene of Vero Beach.  He was preceded in death by his parents Felix and Monserrate Borrero Gonzalez.

Memorial contributions may be made to VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960 or Tabernacle Ministries, 51 Old Dixie Highway, Vero Beach, FL 32962 The family will receive friends 5-8 PM, Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach. Visitation will continue 1- 2 PM, Tuesday, March 6, 2014 at Tabernacle Ministries with a Life Celebration Service beginning at 1:00 PM with Pastor David Foster officiating. SMITHBETTY JANE MAC DONALD passed away on February 26, 2014. She was born on April 24, 1930 in Wyckoff, New Jersey to Gertrude and Thomas W. Areson. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Kenneth W. Mac Donald and parents. Betty was an exceptional mother and grandmother, devoted wife and friend. She was both creative and endlessly positive in spirit. Betty found great joy in her extensive travels and as a volunteer in the Mammography Department at Oak Hill Hospital. Throughout her journey with pancreatic cancer, she demonstrated both grace and her boundless sense of humor.

Betty is survived by her daughters Gay Mac Donald Clayton (John) of Longwood, FL; Kim Mac Donald Lindemann (William) of Palm Harbor, FL; and Lisa Jane Barclay (Michael Preston) of Loxahatchee, FL, grandchildren Benjamin Clayton of Brooklyn, NY; Brett Barclay (Caroline) and Russell Barclay (Nicole) of Apopka, FL; Amanda Lindemann and Kenneth Lindemann of Palm Harbor, FL; great-grandchildren Samuel Barclay and Waylon Barclay of Apopka, FL.

Funeral Services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 6026 North US Highway 1, Ft. Pierce, FL 34946 on Saturday, March 8th at 1 PM. ANNIE MARIE SMITH, 92 of Vero Beach, passed away February 28, 2014 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.  Mrs. Smith was the daughter of C.E. and Dulcie Jenkins. She was born February 19, 1922 in Aucilla, FL and has been a resident of Vero Beach for 90 years.  Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughters, Carole Healy of Vero Beach and Raymona Greene of Leland, NC; grandchildren, Edwin Healy, Stephen Healy, Jason Greene, Wendy Kraft and 8 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Smith and her brother, William E. (Bud) Jenkins. Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice Foundation 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960 in memory of Annie Marie Smith. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m., Sat., March 8, 2014 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
