Marlene Putnam is determined.  She has learned to persevere in all things.  With a recent break to her left hand just following a six month period of health issues, the accomplished painter has had time to restock her mental storehouse with fresh ideas bursting forth from her imagination.  A respected teacher at the Vero Beach Museum of Art, Marlene is looking ahead to the day she can pick up a paint brush again and continue telling stories through the art she loves.

A resident since 1980, Marlene and her late husband Harold moved to Vero Beach after finding a growing art culture with a thriving art club.  Drawn to the active and enthusiastic art club members, Marlene served as the President of the Art Club in the early 80’s while she and Harold also lived in the north during our warm summer months.
