NEWS RELEASE
On March 20th, the Boys & Girls Club of Indian River County will host their 13th Annual Angel’s Dinner Benefit at Sun Aviation Hangar. This event serves to benefit area youths participating in programs throughout the school year and summer months.
During the events, Boys & Girls Club members will have an opportunity to tour Historic Dodgertown where they will be served a complimentary dinner in the renovated dining area once used by Dodger greats. Following a meet-and-greet with the Benefits’ attendees at Sun Aviation later in the evening, the youth will return to Historic Dodgertown’s Stadium Club Lounge for snacks and activities including board games, billiards and ping-pong.
Proceeds from the Angel’s Dinner help to provide quality programs implemented by caring staff in a fun and safe environment to more than 1,500 kids, equipping them with the tools and confidence to succeed in school and in life. Last summer, the generosity of guests provided 600 kids to have a memorable summer at the Boys & Girls Clubs and this year’s goal is to repeat that success.
