The last time Charlie Wilson’s Professor of Political Baloney rant was missing from WTTB’s internet archives, we thought it was the station’s embarrassment over something he said. Instead, Bob Soos himself explained it was his error not putting it up on the internet as he does every other day his show is aired. The error was remedied after we wrote about it on our InsideVero news magazine site.
Well, it happened again – last week’s show was not posted – apparently. After we called WTTB station manager, Jim Davis, for an explanation, he said Soos had put the archived show in the wrong place. It is now up in its correct spot, so I listened to it.
He should have left it in the wrong place. As an attempt at April Fool’s Day humor, Charlie Wilson, during his Professor of Political Baloney segment, suddenly made the most un-political statement, saying he had been accused by bloggers of sexually harassing his employees and he may have sexually harrassed Bea Gardner because they found a note he had sketched out on a bone found at the Vero Man site.
Sorry Charlie, but April Fools Day or not, you should realize there are certain subjects that are simply not humorous.

Well, It would be my guess that, in this instance, they are ashamed of Charlie Wilson and, if they are not ashamed of him, they ought to be.
In all fairness to WTTB, I love the folks at the station. They are good, kind and very radio savvy folks and Bob Soos is a professional in all that he does. And, I can’t say enough good about Bob’s boss, Jim Davis.
But, as many of us know, when you are doing live radio you do not have a re-do button and I am sure the only remedy for the latest Wilson rant, IMO, was to not allow the show to be archived.
I actually commend them for not archiving that show.
I want a slight re-do on the above comment. Since the show was made available to the public as of now, I only want to add, “I do not appreciate Mr. Wilson’s sick humor.”
