If the 6th annual Dancing with Vero’s Stars couldn’t appear to be getting any better than it is, unexpectedly, it did! Three highly professional male dance instructors have joined the dancing troupe, bringing with them multiple years of ballroom dancing and award-winning competitions, as owners and operators of dance studios in Vero Beach, Melbourne and Indialantic. Dancing with Vero’s Stars will be held at Riverside Theatre on Saturday evening, May 10.

Joe Tessier, with wife Shari, formed the dance performance team “Swingsation” and began competing, performing and entertaining throughout Brevard and Indian River Counties in the late 1990’s. They opened their 14th Avenue Dance studio in downtown Vero Beach in 2000 and have built an impressively strong presence as professional dancers and instructors here. The Tessiers together, have been involved in planning and executing Dancing with Vero’s Stars, as well as performing and instructing. It’s a pleasure to have Joe join us on the Riverside stage this year and he will be dancing with star dancer Joan Busch.

Brad Stein, owner and artistic director of Dancin’ Dance Studio in Indialantic, has tripped the light fantastic on Broadway, on PBS TV, as well as helping to choreograph the finale of the first season of So You Think You Can Dance on Fox TV. Brad loves sharing his joy of dance in several roles in the dance industry as a Pro/Am Competitor, internationally certified Adjudicator, coach and so much more. Star dancer Samantha Brackett is as thrilled as we are to have Brad as part of the team.

Bob Kane has danced with Dancing with Vero’s Stars in the past, but his busy schedule had kept him away…until now! Dancing with Star dancer Kitty Wagner, Bob will represent USA Dance Space Coast Chapter. As architect/organizer/Participant of Dancing with Brevard for three years, first place winner in 2008, Bob brings his passion for dance and zest for making a difference from Melbourne to Vero Beach and a lot of class as well.
