Local food bank featured in Pulitzer Prize winning hunger series

Treasure Coast Food Bank’s efforts at fighting hunger were a significant part of a series that was recognized this week with a Pulitzer Prize in explanatory reporting.

Among the winners of the 98th Pulitzer Prize winners in journalism, letters, drama and music was a series by Eli Saslow of the Washington Post on hunger, poverty and food stamps.
