STEPHEN WAREN BECKER of Vero Beach, FL and Hendersonville, NC passed away on April 16, 2014 of complications during heart surgery.
He is survived by Grace Marie Becker, his wife of 56 years, and by his son, Stephen Nelson Becker, his daughter-in-law Sara Granley Becker and his 3 grandchildren, John Sidbury Becker, Sarah Grace Becker and Evan Granley Becker, all of McLean VA. He was predeceased by his brother, Philip D Becker.
Becker was born June 12, 1926 in Bayside, Queens. He was a World War Two veteran, having served as a first mate in the Navy in the Pacific theater. He subsequently graduated with a bachelor’s degree from American University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
He worked as director of research for several Wall Street investment firms before starting a mutual fund, the Becker Fund, in 1969. After selling the fund, he was an investment manager for Goldman Sachs and subsequently retired from McCowan Associates. He was very fond of his weekends in East Hampton, NY where his hobbies including gardening, fishing and golf.
Following his retirement, he moved to Stuart, FL and subsequently to Vero Beach, FL, and also maintained a summer home in Hendersonville, NC.
He was a devoted husband, a terrific father and a loving grandfather. Despite many health challenges over the years, he was always upbeat. He was sharp, witty and fully engaged with everyone he met.

DOLORES CANNON of Vero Beach passed away on April 18, 2014. Dolores was born in Richmond Hill, NY. She married William Cannon of East Meadow, Long Island on September 22, 1956 and enjoyed 57 years of marriage. After raising two children on Long Island, NY, Dolores and Bill Cannon retired to Vero Beach and have enjoyed residency here since 1997.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Cannon and two children, William Cannon and Maureen Cannon of New York.

GRACE ANN GREEN (SMITH), a94, of Vero Beach, FL passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, April 18, 2014.
She is predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Edward E. Green. She is survived by her children; Phil, Jim, Karen and Kathy, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

WILLIAM “TIMMY” MCCULLERS, 54, of Vero Beach, Florida lost his battle with lung cancer Friday, April 18, 2014 at his home surrounded by family. Timmy was born April 12, 1960 in Vero Beach, FL to BJ McCullers Sr. and Roberta Peterson McCullers. Timmy completed up to the 10th grade at Tabernacle Church. He then went to work for his father.
Timmy became a well-known local business man for over 30 years. He was a mud racer, loved to ski and loved the river. His main goal in life was supporting his family and raising his children. He became involved with the Vero Beach Senior High School band in 2002, which became another part of his life. He volunteered with local charities around Vero for the last 13 years. Timmy had a BIG heart and gave help whenever he was needed. He was also a member of The First Baptist Church of Vero Beach.
Timmy was survived by his wife of 28 years Holly Romine McCullers, his three children; Allison McCullers Bartlett (Teresa), Joshua McCullers (Tracey) and Angela Joy McCullers, all of Vero Beach. Siblings Jimmy McCullers (Cindy) of Okeechobee, FL and Deborah Bryant (Doug) of Troy, AL. He was pre-deceased by two sons Steven William and Gary Lee as well as his granddaughter Destiny Lee, who we believed took him home as she would have been 5 this month. We love and miss him dearly. He will always be in each of our hearts. Bless him and keep him.

GEORGE ALBERT PATTON, III, 49, of Vero Beach, Florida died Friday, April 18, 2014. He was born April 2, 1965 in Canton, Ohio and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 34 years. George attended Vero Beach High School. He worked in kitchen sales at the Sebastian Home Depot for the past 7 years. George enjoyed anything outdoors from camping, boating to fishing and he was an avid poker player. He was known animal lover and especially loved wild squirrels.
George is survived by his wife of 25 years, Elizabeth Patton; children, Dustin, Kyle and Alyssa Patton; parents, George and Donna Patton, Jr.; brothers, Keith Patton, Brian (Aimee) Patton; sister, Brenda (Laruen) Patton; sister-in-law, Stephanie (Rob) Errett ; mother-in-law, Donna Brown and his beloved dog, Kiwi and bird, Poco.
