NEWS RELEASE

An argument between two men in the 3800 block of 44th Place left one wounded by gunfire earlier this evening.  A twenty-three year old male from Gifford was transported by ambulance to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center to be treated for a gunshot wound to the head. At this time, it appears the wound is not life threatening. Detectives, crime scene personnel, and deputies are on scene and have closed 44th Place between 38th Avenue and 39th Avenue.
