A Mother’s Day 5K to support Devereux Community Based Care of Okeechobee, a foster care program serving serves the four-county Treasure Coast, will be held this Sunday, May 11 at South Beach. The run starts at 7:30, with day of race registration beginning at 6:30.  There will be juice from Natalies Orchid Island Juice Company, bagels from Einstein Bagels and face painting.  There are also awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places runners in three age categories, male and female, as well as awards for walkers, male and female, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.  Then, we have 1st and 2nd place youth awards for boy and girl runners.
