Last September, one day after Inside Vero announced the time and date on which it would host a city council candidate roundtable, 32963 reporter, Lisa Zahner, called candidates to tell them the island weekly would be staging a “debate” the same evening as the roundtable.   To avoid scheduling conflicts and the stress caused when candidates were asked to participate in multiple events in one evening, Inside Vero is announcing today its plans to host an city council candidate roundtable Tuesday evening, Oct. 7 at the Heritage Center in downtown Vero Beach.

As with last year’s roundtable, we are hopeful of facilitating a thoughtful discussion on a range of issues that will continue to be important to the community well after the dust has settle on the proposed sale of Vero Electric.
