MARION HAYTH, 94 of Vero Beach entered eternal life on Monday, June 30, 2014. Her amazing journey started in Babylon, NY on October 29, 1919 when she blessed the lives of her parents Margaret (Maggie) and Tracey Pearsall. Her spirit and love is carried on by her two sons and daughter-in-laws, John Hayth Jr. (wife Ellen) of Vero Beach and William T. Hayth (wife Theresa) of Califon, NJ / Vero Beach, FL, her five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, brother Richard Pearsall (wife Flo), sister-in-law Alice Pearsall, and an extended family of relatives and friends from every walk of life. Her love of life and her contagious laugh will be missed by all of her loved ones and those that were lucky enough to know her.
Marion is a graduate of Babylon High School in NY. She went on to work in the Babylon High School System. Marion was involved in many community activities in NY, including the Babylon Fire Department (Argyle Hose Co.). Marion’s big heart and larger than life personality was fueled by her love of sweets. She loved to sing, laugh, cook and was so proud of her adoring family. Marion is preceded in death by her husband John Hayth, her loving parents, brother John (Sonny) Pearsall, his wife Taffy Pearsall and brother Donald Pearsall.
A celebration of her life will be held at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach, from 12 to 2 pm on Thursday, July 3, 2014, With a Prayer Service beginning at 2:00 PM. Marion will be laid to rest immediately following the funeral service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to VNA Hospice Foundation 1110 35th Lane Vero Beach, FL 32960. MARGARET “PEG” RUGE, 90, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away June 28, She was receded in death by husband Andrew Ruge and grandson Christian Ruge, and is survived and loved by children, Betty Donohue (Gerry), Kathy Ruge, Dan Ruge (Kathy K.), Bill Ruge (Tish), Patti Ruge-Ritchie (Sherman), Trudy Richard (Larry) and Tom Ruge (Melissa); twelve grandchildren, and nine and a half great-grandchildren. Good-bye, we love and miss you “Mom”, “Grandma”, “G.G”.
Mass will be celebrated 10 AM, Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach followed by a reception at Indian River Estates – Willowbrook Court.
