The VNA of the Treasure Coast is pleased to announce that it has selected Mary Linn Hamilton, RN, MPH, as its new President and CEO.
Hamilton, who most recently served as President and CEO of the VNA of Rhode Island, brings extensive experience with home healthcare, hospice and palliative care, homemaker/companion services, and community wellness programming, all core services offered by the VNA of the Treasure Coast. In addition, Hamilton’s leadership experience includes a thorough understanding of pediatric home care, home infusion services, and home medical equipment.
Hamilton earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Simmons College, in Boston, Massachusetts and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina. She also completed a Fellowship at the University of Chicago’s Center for Health Administration Studies and has completed Doctoral Program coursework in the Department of Health Policy and Management at Columbia University’s School of Public Health.

It is wonderful to have her joining our team as we prepare to celebrate our 40th anniversary serving Indian River County.”
Ford Fegert, interim CEO and former VNA Board Chair agreed, saying, “Mary Linn is dedicated to the ideals of providing the highest-quality patient care and exceptional customer service, two values at the heart of the VNA. We are very pleased that she will be leading our organization and our exceptional team of caregivers.”
About the VNA:
The VNA of the Treasure Coast serves Indian River, Brevard, and St. Lucie Counties. The not-for-profit organization provides in-home healthcare services—including nursing; home health aides; and physical, speech, and occupational therapy— for patients living with chronic illnesses and those rehabilitating following surgery or hospitalization. The organization also provides homemaker/ companion services through its wholly owned affiliate, Nightingale Private Duty Nursing. The VNA is the only licensed hospice provider in Indian River County, offering end-of-life care in patients’ homes, local hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living facilities, and at their Vero Beach Hospice House.
