PIETER C. VAN DALEN, 89, of Vero Beach, FL and Lima, Peru, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 11, 2014 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach. Pieter was born in Holland to Wilhemus and Jacoba Van Dalen. He was a mechanical engineer for Volvo until his retirement. He was a Master Mason and a Shriner. He also served in the military during WW II.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Teresa; a daughter, Dolly Van Dalen (Don McGuifan); a son, Pieter Van Dalen (Korri); 2 grandchildren, Alyssa and Alex and six brother’s and sisters.
