Obituaries: July 13, 2014

JOAN LEWIS, 81, of Vero Beach, died July 7, 2014 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. Joan was born in New Haven, CT and lived in Indian River County for 42 years coming from Ellington, CT.

Survivors include daughter; Jill Lewis-Whiting (Dale A.)and Jane Holman both of Vero Beach; grandchildren, Casey, Thomas and Steven and nephew Deane Clarke and family, as well as other nieces and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Bill Lewis and brother Neil Clark.

Box 644, Vero Beach, FL 32961, or the Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960 in memory of Joan E. Lewis. Visitation will be held from 4- 7 PM, Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach. A funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m., Tuesday July 15, 2014 at Strunk Funeral Home with Dr. G.
