HANS BOEGEL, 84, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, July 19, 2014 at VNA Hospice House.
He was born January 15, 1930 in Stettin, Germany and moved to Florida 23 years ago, coming from Monroe, NY.

Mr. Boegel is survived by his son, Ralph Boegel, wife, Sharon, of Marlborough, MA; daughter, Vera Byrd, husband, Lee, of Chatham, NJ; brother, Alfred Boegel of Schwabstedt, Germany and five grandchildren.A memorial service will be held in Chatham, NJ at a later date.

HAMILTONRALPH H. HAMILTON, 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20th, 2014. He was born in Quay (Winter Beach), FL on January 7th, 1924 to Jesse James Perrill “J.J.P” Hamilton and Ruth E. Hinton and was a lifelong resident of Indian River County. He worked for Indian River Exchange Packers for more than 50 years, was an avid fisherman, gardener and storyteller. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Edna Armstrong and siblings Perry Hamilton, Eugene Hamilton, and Eunice Walker preceded him in death.

He is survived by children Druscilla Skinner, Paul Hamilton; wife Kathy and Tommy Hamilton; wife Darlene. Grandchildren: Shannon Skinner, Julie Kelly; husband Chad, Deanna Hamilton, Chad Hamilton, Kari Skinner and Brittany Hamilton. Great Grandchildren: Steven, Cody, Grace, Rachel, Maci, Lea, Caroline, Suzanna, Meredith and Carson.

A memorial service will be held by Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday, June 26th at 11 a.m. with Pastor Michael Ashburn officiating. Visitation with the family will begin at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shining Light Garden Foundation or the VNA of the Treasure Coast. MONTEROSSO_picRAYMOND MARIUS MONTEROSSO, 84, of Vero Beach, Florid passed away Friday, July 18, 2014 at Palm Garden of Vero Beach. Ray was born in New Haven, Connecticut and moved to the Treasure Coast in 1977 from Bramford, Connecticut. He has lived in Spanish Lakes Fairways, Palm Bay and Vero Beach. Ray was a veteran of the Korean War during which time he served in the Army Corp of Engineers 34th Infantry Division. A member of IBEW Local #90, Ray had worked for electric power companies both in the northeast and Vero Beach. In Vero he had become the Electrical Supervisor for the St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant in Port St. Lucie before his retirement. He was of the Catholic faith. Ray was a 33rd Degree Mason and member of Day Spring #30 Masonic Lodge, Hamden, Connecticut and a Past Worthy Patron of Alice Chapter No. 76 of the Order of the Eastern Star. He was a lifemember of VFW Post 4206 in Melbourne, Florida and enjoyed fishing when he wasn’t working or enjoying his favorite pasttime of being with his family.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 61 years Johanna C. Monterosso of Vero Beach, loving children Richard John (Robin) Monterosso of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Ronald Brian (Shirley) Monterosso of Fort Pierce, Jacqueline Elizabeth (Eric) Monterosso-Olsen of Vero Beach and Raymond William Monterosso of Ormond By The Sea. Brothers David John (Beverly) Monterosso of Oakville, Connecticut and Thomas Monterosso of Hamden, Connecticut, grandson Jodan Monterosso, granddaughter Melissa Monterosso, and great-granddaughter Madison Monterosso

MARIE G. SCHUYLER, (nee Whitman), 93, of Vero Beach, FL died on July 20, 2014. Marie was born in Wells, NY to the late George L. and Edith Warner Whitman. She was predeceased by her siblings: Clifton, Ruth, Leonard, Elsie, and Ilean. Marie moved to Florida in the late 1950s and worked for Winn Dixie Supermarkets for a number of years. She retired after many years of service with Bayer AG.

She is survived by her son, Michael A. Schuyler of Phoenix, AZ and a daughter, Carol G. Daffron of Vero Beach, FL. Many grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

STANKOEVELYN “EV” STANKO, age 86 passed away peacefully at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida on Sunday afternoon, July 20, 2014. She was born to James and Annie Brown the youngest of six children in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania and lived in Pittsburgh until 1985 when she retired to Barefoot Bay, Florida; her beloved home for the past 30 years. Ev worked as an “authentic” switchboard operator for Bell Telephone in the 1950’s and after raising her family; she retired from the Westinghouse Airbrake as a Stock Room Attendant. Her hobbies were collecting jewelry, bargain shopping, tending to her precious dog and watching Fox Network to stay up on current events. She was a member of St. Luke’s Church and the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association. Her late husband, Sgt. Robert “Bob” J. Stanko of the Pennsylvania State Police whom she married on September 26, 1959, passed away on November 18, 2008.

Ev is survived by her three children, Roberta Fowler (David) of Boca Raton, Florida; Roselle Colapietro (Ralph) of St. Cloud, Florida and David Stanko of New York City, NY, and her four grandchildren, Brandon and Lauren Humphreys, Alyssa King and Rachel Zewe. She has one surviving brother, Desmond Brown.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Evelyn’s name to William Childs Hospice House, 381 Medplex Parkway, Palm Bay, Florida 32907. William Childs Hospice was also the final resting place of her dear husband, Bob. A private memorial is being held for family only; however a Celebration of Life Service open to the public will be held at a later date. Announcements are forthcoming. Strunk Funeral Home (7/23/14)

RUTH PELLETIER, 81, wife of the late William Pelletier, mother of Pamela Bartling and Mark Pelletier, passed away on July 19, 2014.
