Obituaries: July 26, 2014

BoamanRET. COL. RICHARD A. BOAMAN. USAF, 74, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away July 23, 2014 at the Brennity. He was born April 24, 1940 in Reading, PA and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 10 years, coming from Lady Lake, FL. Mr. Boaman retired from the United States Air Force after 28 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Ann D. Boaman; daughter, Kathleen Stouder; mother, Rita Boaman; brothers, Martin Boaman and Gregory Boaman; sister, Candy Brown and granddaughter, Courtney Putzel. He was predeceased by his father, Richard A. Boaman, Sr.

At the request of the family, services will be private. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.

HyattEVELYN L. HYATT, 85, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, July 24, 2014 at VNA Hospice House. She was born March 21, 1929 in Waynesboro, PA and had been a resident of Indian River County for 28 years, coming from Falls Church, VA. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Hyatt worked 30 years with the United States Department of Labor. She was a member of Unity Church, where she served as a volunteer. She was also a member of Stepping Stone Quilters of Sebastian.

Mrs. Hyatt is survived by her husband of 64 years, Woodrow G. Hyatt; daughters, Susan Follot of Sebastian and Cindy Pillitteri of Pickerington, OH; son, Michael Hyatt of Vero Beach; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, David Hyatt in 1992 and her sister, Jane Burke.

A memorial service will be held 11am, Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Unity Church, Vero Beach. Memorial contributions may be made to the Unity Church. Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home (7/25/14)
