Obituaries: July 26, 2014

ETHEN HENSON, 86, died July 22, 2014 at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian. She was born in Smyrna, South Carolina and lived in Sebastian since 2008 coming from Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri and South Carolina. She retired after 20 years from General Motors in Flint, Michigan and was a long time member of the United Auto Workers Union.

Survivors include son Jack Odom and his wife, Sue of Sebastian, granddaughters Christine Odom of Sebastian, Jessica Odom of Sebastian and Courtney Henson of Flint, Michigan, grandsons Ryan Henson of Flint, Michigan, Eric Odom and Ronald Harris both of California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henson and son Ron Harris.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian. A Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home chapel. Strunk Funeral Home (7/26/14)

THOMAS (TOMMY) FRANKLIN MORGAN passed away July 24, 2014 at his home in Vero Beach. He was born July 17, 1954 in Lake Wales, Florida. He moved to Vero Beach in 1996. He was a graduate of Lake Wales High School and received a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from Florida Southern College. He was in the packaging business for 40 years serving primarily the citrus and produce industries. He traveled all over the southeast selling boxes and made many lifetime friends and customers. He was an avid golfer and was a past member of the Lake Wales Country Club and the Vero Beach Country Club.

He is survived by his Wife of 37 years, Gail Morgan of Vero Beach; Daughter, Kimberly Kieffer (Tygar) of Lake Wales; Son, Michael Morgan (Holley) of Vero Beach; Grandchildren, Kegan Kieffer of Lake Wales, Florida, Kaitlyn Kieffer of Lake Wales, and Michael Thomas of Vero Beach. In addition, he is survived by brothers, Jerry Morgan (Linda) of Lakeland, Florida and Terry Morgan of Rome, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents Lester and Louise Morgan and a brother, Robert Morgan.

A memorial service will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Christ by the Sea Methodist Church.
